Design signed by a legend. Gary Player, one of the best golf player in history, was the designer and architect of the golf course in Cihelny. His company „Gary Player Design Company“ created a course of so called Scotish type here. The character of the course is based rather on its technical parameters than on its size. The golf course in Cihelny is outstanding for numerous water areas and the natural obstructions as well as the artificial ones It is really a course for champions but not only for professional players.

 

Since the opening of the course in 2001 many top tournaments have taken place here namely 24th EUROPEAN BOYS TEAM CHAMP, PGA CZECH GOLF TOUR 2004, CZECH INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP 2007, Mid-amateur Tour, Audi Invitational, Pirelli Golf Cup and O2 Business Golf Tour. At the same time the Cihelny golf course provides the best conditions for non-professional players and even for utter beginners.
