Characteristics

The GolfResort Weimarer Land is located just a few kilometers from the city of Weimar in central Germany. The wonderful 36-hole golf courses (the largest connected golf ground in Thuringia, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt) consist of two 18-hole courses (“Goethe” and “Feininger”), one 3-hole course to practice and a driving range. Furthermore, there is a third possibility to play in the amazing nature: the “Bobby Jones Champions Course” – a combination of the Goethe and Feininger course. A free trail lesson takes place every Sunday from 2 till 3 p.m..

A four-star plus hotel is opened in May 2013 on the heritage-listed estate and offers its golf and spa guests a relaxed and secluded stay.

Families are just as well catered for, as the hotel has a separate building with seven spacious family suites and a playhouse with a supervised kids’ programme.
