Characteristics

The Schmitzhof is an agricultural estate whose existence was first documented in the mid-19th century. The chestnut tree, which was already part of the estate at the time, is an estimated 230 years old and was incorporated as a landmark into the clubs crest. Because of its fairness and hospitality, the club is renowned far beyond the Lower Rhine region.
