Do not be afraid of water obstacles!

If you visit the JEZERA golf course in Ostrožská Nová Ves, you can expect a course with water obstacles by name. The course lies on a plain with a beautiful view of the nearby castle Buchlov. The nine-hole course was standardized in July 2009. And we believe that each of you will enjoy the game.

Where is the playground?

The golf course is located in Ostrožská Nová Ves, in the heart of Moravian Slovakia, about 8 km from the district town of Uherské Hradiště. In a flat landscape surrounded on one side by the ridge of the White Carpathians and on the other side by the Chřiby Mountains with the typical landmark of Buchlov Castle. The golf course in Ostrožská Nová Ves is an excellent part of pure nature with excellent terrain.
The signpost "Golf" is located at the main road in the village Ostrožská Nová Ves, always 50m before turning in both directions. If you are coming from Uherské Hradiště turn to Hodonín Břeclav, on your arrival to Ostrožská Nová Ves first turn to the right. (approx. 100m from the board of the municipality). Then continue for about 200m straight to the destination. If you arrive from Hodonín Ostrožská Nová Ves is located on the main route to Uherské Hradiště, drive through the village and about 100m before leaving the village turn left and then continue straight 200m to the destination.

When did it come into being?

Golf club Uherské Hradiště was founded in 2006. In 2007 the driving range was opened in Ostrožská Nová Ves and in summer 2009 the nine-hole, fully irrigated golf course JEZERA was standardized.

What awaits you here?

The specific distribution of holes around lakes suggests that this will be an interesting course with par 72. Three five-pairs, three four-pairs and three three-pairs (as opposed to the "classic" ratio of two five-pairs, two three-pairs and 5 four-pairs) for beginners.
The total length of the tees from white tees of almost 6,000 m, of yellow nearly 5,500 m, blue of 5,000 m and red of more than 4,600 m can withstand the comparison with other courses without “blush”.
The playground architect Jiří Metela “won” with the greens. None is the same. There are single-level, two-level, but also three-level, so you won't be bored on the greens either. Each has a different shape and the specialty of the five-piece green, which consists of two "pancakes" among which is a "canyon" will be the revenge of the greenkeeper when they sleep poorly.

The nicest holes?

A walk through this nine will be a nice experience. The tee of the ninth hole from the pier will be an interesting culmination of the final five-pairs with the greens between the ponds, which will again be a challenge especially for long players.

Playing a par 3 from a distance of 80 to 120 meters seems to be an easy matter on hole number 8, but considering that it is almost an island greens, this hole becomes interesting. Hitting a 25-meter-long and 39-meter-wide greens might not be a big deal, but consider that you might have a 40-foot heel
