Characteristics

Edzell Golf Club was laid out by architect, Bob Simpson, in 1895, and redesigned by James Braid in the 1930s. The Old Course is situated at the gateway to the Grampians in the foothills of the Angus Glens. Indeed the mountains form a backdrop to this lovely heathland course. The 9 hole West Water course, designed by Graeme Webster, was opened in 2001. The Club is located in the beautiful village of Edzell, midway between the cities of Dundee and Aberdeen. Green fees represent excellent value and the welcome is friendly and hospitable.
