Characteristics

Germanys oldest golf course was founded in 1893 by English and Scottish people. Since 1911 todays course has been situated on the Gehrn Meadows at the Chaussee House. The slightly hilly course demands an accurate game because the brooks, bunkers and a very old stock of trees often offer strategic challenges that can be crucial for the outcome of game.
