Characteristics

Forrest Little Golf Club was designed by Fred Hawtree and is set in mature parkland of stunning quality adjacent to Dublin Airport and within easy reach of both the M1 and M50 Motorways.

The present course was opened in 1970 and over the years has undergone major redevelopments, with a substantial investment in fairway drainage and the replacement of all its greens built to USGA specifications. This enables the course to be open for play all year round.

The gentle rolling terrain of the course, set in mature parkland with majestic trees provides a fair and stern test to golfers of all abilities. The course is also an easy walk with no serious hills to contend with. Forrest Little GC has hosted many Golfing Union of Ireland competitions and was used as a pre-qualifying course for the Irish Open in the 1980’s.
