The golf course is located 25 km southeast of Prague in the village of Molitorov. Molitorov is a part of a small town Kouřim, which according to chronicles is the oldest town in Bohemia. Kouřim is the town of Prince Lech and there is a probable geographical center of Europe. Eighteen holes have all the attributes a golf course should have. On the golf course Molitorov you will find a number of long but also short holes. Short holes stand out for their technical demands and long holes for their great distance from the tee to the green. On the course you will find a number of tricky bunkers, shrubs, trees or tall grasses, which we know more from Scottish courses. Another factor that makes golf courses is water. You can also find it here on holes 6 and 18. The first nine holes are on a flat plain and these holes are characterized by their length and their insidious obstacles in the impact zone of the first wounds. The second nine is mostly in the local cherry orchard and the game is much harder than the first nine. Drives here must be very accurate and long to give the player a chance to par. The advantage of this course is that if the drive is inaccurate, in most cases you can find the ball. The landscape is typical of the Elbe lowland with rows of trees or chains. If you are a fan of golf and nature, you will certainly be interested in hole number 17. It is the highest point of the Molitorov course and there is a beautiful view of the historic town of Kouřim and the surrounding countryside. Interestingly, the shortest hole of our course, hole number 15, measures 99 meters from the tees. On the other hand, the longest hole is number 4, five pairs, 530 meters long from the master tees.
