Characteristics

Mallow is a majestic parkland course, set in the heart of the Blackwater Valley with exceptional views of the distant Galtee and Mushera mountains. A well-wooded course with well planed bunkers and plantations it demands a fine variety of golf shots. Mallow provides a challenge for the serious golfer and at the same time an enjoyable experience for the not so serious golfer. Designed by Commandant J. D. Harris measuring 5,960 m Par-72 with a standard scratch of 72 off the back tees, is a true Championship course. Mallow won the Bulmer’s Senior Cup for the first time at Newlands Golf Club in September 2001, the combined handicap of the team was one, its no wonder they took the scalps they did on the way to a memorable victory. Mallow has a fine clubhouse with full catering facilities and the visitor is assured of a warm welcome and a memorable game of golf at Mallow Golf Club.
