Your golfing journey is not complete until you have in played on our course, along the shores of False Bay. Whether you get to tangle with the famous South-Easter, or lose concentration at the beauty around you, this is a memorable experience.

The Simons Town Golf Club was founded in 1913 and is the only 9 hole course on the Cape Peninsula. This links course has a rating of 62, and has views of the sea and mountains from every tee & green.

We are affiliated to the South African Golf Association (SAGA) and are a member of the Western Province Golf Union (WPGU).

One of the features of our course is small greens; the course may be short but greens can be difficult to hit. The course also has a natural slope towards the sea, and visitors do find this aspect interesting.

Members competitions are held on Wednesdays & Saturdays, and affiliated visitors with an official handicap are welcome to enter.

"Chicken Run" competitions are held over 9 holes every Friday afternoon from 12 p.m. Pensioners competitions takes place on Mondays and Fridays. Tee off is 8 a.m. in summer and 8:30 a.m. in winter. Visitors are welcome.
