Characteristics

The Golf Club Hammetweil is situated only a 20 minutes drive south of Stuttgart, at the southern slope above the Neckar River - with a dream-like view on the Swabian Mountains. The course was designed in 2004 by the golf course architect Reinhold Weishaupt on the area of the estate Hammetweil near Neckartenzlingen. It offers many challenges like numerous water hazards and extraordinary bunkers. The first nine holes were embedded harmoniously into the hilly landscape down the valley, the second 9 holes are situated behind the clubhouse. Especially spectacular are the hole 5 with its island green as well as the hole 8 with a large reservoir. The spacious driving range, a putting green as well as the chipping and pitching area offer varied training possibilities.
