Characteristics

Founded in 1985, Killeen in County Kildare is an 18-hole parkland course situated just a half-mile from the village of Kill, off the main Dublin to Cork road. The course measures 5, 815 metres and the introduction of six completely new holes, designed by the famous Craddock and Ruddy partnership, have a distinct air of Florida golf about them.

No fewer than five major new lakes were created to add drama to the new holes, which also feature fairway mounding and mature trees. The course is bounded on the west by the Grand Canal and to the south by a magnificent stud farm.
