Characteristics

Located ten miles west of Dublin, Leixlip Golf Club is one of Ireland’s newest sporting jewels.

It was designed by esteemed golf course architect Eddie Hackett, the man responsible for a significant number of other world-class courses, and it is expected that, in time, Leixlip will come to be regarded in such a way.

Although it only has nine holes at present, it still measures in excess of 6,000 yards when played twice over for a full 18-hole round. What’s more, it occupies a beautiful part of the Co. Kildare countryside such that the views and setting are almost as exhilarating as the challenge of the course itself.

After your round, why not join the members back in the clubhouse for a quiet drink and a bite to eat? You’ll be made most welcome.
