Characteristics

Opened in 1937 and designed by H. S. Colt, St Mellons Golf Club is a lovely parkland course on the eastern edge of the Capital City of Cardiff, with fantastic views of the Bristol Channel.

Measuring 6080 yards from the yellow tees, the par 70 course with recently refurbished bunkers, offers a challenging test of golf for players of all abilities. St Mellons is unique in that it straddles two counties – Gwent and South Glamorgan. The course is probably the best laid out course in South Wales and provides one of the best tests of golf in the region.

St Mellons Golf Club welcomes societies and corporate groups from Monday to Friday throughout the year. No matter what size your group is, St Mellons can guarantee you a great day. A well maintained 18 hole parkland course, excellent bar facilities and a wide choice of menus are available.
