he “County” is one of the most popular golf courses in South West Scotland. It is an 18 hole, flat true, links course on the A75 between Glenluce and Stranraer, along the shores of Luce Bay. Easy walking with stunning views across the bay to the Isle of Man in the distance.

The excellent condition of the course with subtly sloping greens and changing sea breezes provide a test of golf for all abilities The area enjoys a temperate climate, and due to the sandy soil, the course is always dry, and playable all winter. The clubhouse and bar are open for refreshments all year round, and visitors are always welcome. Large visiting parties and buses can be accommodated as the parking facilities are spacious and the dining room can seat over 40 people.

There are changing facilities for ladies and gents, a practice putting green and large practice ground. Juniors are welcome. The clubhouse is also open to non golfers who just require coffee, meals or snacks in the well appointed dining room overlooking the course and free wi-fi for business users.
