Characteristics

Formed back in 1894 and now regarded by many to be the friendliest private members’ golf club in the county, Puttenham offers a challenging 18-hole tree-lined course, renowned for its superb condition, with Professional’s shop, buggy hire, practice facilities and driving range, as well as a welcoming bar and restaurant offering delicious home-cooked food to be enjoyed by members and visitors alike. Puttenham has thriving men’s, seniors’, ladies, mixed and junior sections, all of whom enjoy a wide range of competitions and matches. In addition, the Club organises many fun social activities for golfers and non-golfers throughout the year including bridge, quiz and bingo evenings, as well as various Christmas events. Puttenham also welcomes green fee and society visitors, many of whom return on a regular basis as they have enjoyed the course and friendly atmosphere so much.
