Characteristics

An American style course with 90 bunkers and eight water features built on a free draining sandy soil.

American designs for golf courses have become more and more popular in the last 20 years or so. An example of this can be found at The Bedford Golf Club where its course demonstrates all the classic characteristics of the finest golf courses from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.

The course designer David Poteridge was clearly influenced by the likes of Augusta National when he designed The Bedford, and it still retains all its wonderful green fairways superb white bunker sand then goes into immaculate green, and gleaming water hazards now ten years after it first opened its doors to golfers

It is a first class round of golf that any player will find difficult to resist.
