Characteristics

Banstead Downs a wonderful downland golf course, designed by James Braid in 1890. It winds its way across the fast draining chalk down, which makes it extraordinarily resilient to wet weather. The course is often playable when many others are not, and temporary greens are almost unheard of.

Together with the undulating fairways and the variety of challenges including the recently relocated bunkers, they make it a wonderful place for players of all levels to enjoy a round of golf in natural surroundings.
