Characteristics

San Buenas Golf course offers right now 9 of the 18 holes Championship course. The course was designed by the Canadian golf architect Dan Lawis. He planned the course respecting a maximum of the natural shape of the landscape and the existing mature Nature, and the Paspallum grass likes salt water, which means the weeds get eliminated on a natural way. Therefore it is an ecological sustainable project. The fairways are embedded in a beautiful valley surrounded by rainforest. Lots of water creeks and smaller rivers find their way through the project. While playing you can observe all kinds of birds, especially Aras and parrots. Athough it was opened only in 2010, the course looks like a mature course as the old trees have been respected. The design of the holes, with long Par 5, ondulated greens, two tee shots over a river, dog-leg, partly high roughs will be demanding also for an ambitious player. The nice climate of the South Pacific zone allows playing all year round.

A driving range, putting green and golf lessons are completing the offer.
