Characteristics

DDGC was founded in 1891 and was originally designed by Old Tom Morris himself.

Various other well known course architects have added their own personal touches to the course over the years.

Ted Ray from Ganton in 1906, Dr Alistair Mackenzie in 1913, Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas in 1970.

The course offers a great test for all golfers, with the emphasis on quality, as well as fantastic panoramic views of West Yorkshire.

After your round you can relax on the balcony and enjoy a drink overlooking the 18th green or in the comfortable surroundings of the Pinnacle Suite. Either way our dedicated staff will provide a warm welcome with a range of catering options and a fully licensed bar.

We look forward to greeting you.
