Characteristics

The Royal Kaanapali Course is a 6,700 yard par 71 Robert Trent Jones Sr. design. The recently renovated layout begins at sea level and climbs up into the West Maui mountain foothills, presenting challenging shot selections and contoured greens.

The 6,400 yard par 70 Kaanapali Kai Course provides a more forgiving layout than its counterpart, the Royal Kaanapali Course, making it a great resort experience for all skill levels. Round strategy is more important than distance on this course built upon an old sugarcane plantation. The course has been renovated in 2008.
